I’ve been wondering what’s keeping me from making the next post. I think I have it figured out. I’m feeling a little pressure with my recent races. I had hoped I was going to get some feedback on my fitness from the Loop the Lake half marathon last week but it ended up being a really poor event to gauge anything by. I’ll post more on this shortly but that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it.

The more I do it the more I ask myself this question. My list of answers is getting longer and longer which perhaps is the answer in itself. It doesn’t surprise me that you can relate to my thoughts at this level.

Heat really is evil, it sucks our running souls dry. Seems to me Kamloops is a desert in the summer with a beautiful river running through the middle of town. Perhaps you should take up swimming?

Heat is an awful lot like Kamloops in the summer….minus any sort of humidity of course.
